Hopefully, one day Marvel or some other company will be able to settle just who would win a battle between these larger-than-life icons once and for all.Ultraman and Godzilla, two of the Earth's and even the Universe's or better yet the Multiverses Mightiest Protectors. It also depends very heavily on the creative team and how they handle each of the opponents at the center of the clash. As with any decade-sprawling franchise, there are multiple iterations with different stats, properties and quirks. Of course, it's difficult to know exactly how any fight between Godzilla and Ultraman would definitively play out. This would put Ultraman at a serious disadvantage to finish off Godzilla in three minutes or less. While Ultraman finishes his Godzilla-inspired Kaiju with his signature move, there's no guarantee the Spacium Beam could finish off the big guy in one blast, and in fact it might take several beams to actually damage the King of Monsters. However, he has to charge up to this move, just as Godzilla in some iterations has to charge up to use his radioactive breaths.
Ultraman's most devastating move is the Spacium Beam, which he uses to finish off his enemies. Even the hauntingly skeletal iteration from the film Shin Godzilla would be well above Ultraman's weight class, as Ultraman probably wouldn't be able to move any Godzilla as easily as he does the much-smaller Kaiju in his own mini-series. It should be noted that just about every iteration of Godzilla is much bulkier than the Kaiju Shin fights here. While Shin ultimately defeats the beast with the help of his allies, this doesn't mean he wouldn't find himself in a much different battle against Godzilla. Not only does this Kaiju clearly resemble Godzilla, but he also emits an energy blast from his mouth similar to Godzilla's radioactive breath. In Ultraman: Rise of Ultraman #5, Shin himself does battle with a Kaiju very similar in appearance to Godzilla - a fearsome bipedal reptile which rises from the sea. Related: The Rise of Ultraman is Marvel's Pacific Rim Megalon did feature Godzilla teaming up with Jet Jaguar, whose appearance was partially inspired by Ultraman. As it stands, the two have only officially battled it out in the video game Battle Soccer. Interestingly enough, both characters have, at one point or another, appeared in licensed Marvel Comics, so a crossover isn't entirely unforeseeable. The two characters have seen multiple iterations over the years. Often seen as a metaphor for nuclear weapons testing of the time, Godzilla is a massive prehistoric being capable of wrecking havoc with his radioactive breath.
Meanwhile, Toho's Godzilla (or Gojira as he is known in Japanese) appeared over a decade earlier in his own self-titled big screen debut in 1954.

ULTRAMAN BELIAL VS GODZILLA SERIES
Tsuburaya's Ultraman first appeared in a Japanese television series of the same name in 1966. As the mini-series winds down to its conclusion ( and sets up for a new mini-series), it's worth asking the question - how would Ultraman fare in a fight against the King of Monsters himself, Godzilla? For the past several months, the famed Japanese hero Ultraman has been kicking Kaiju butt as part of Ultraman: The Rise of Ultraman, a new Marvel mini-series written by Kyle Higgins and Mat Groom and illustrated by Francesco Manna and Espen Grundetjern.
